Maverick Innovation (MI), established in 2020, is a forward-thinking research organization committed to advancing sustainable and efficient solutions for the animal production industry. Our journey began with a vision to drive innovation through cutting-edge research facilities and global collaborations. In 2023, our state-of-the-art “zero-waste” Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS)-based wet-lab became operational, paving the way for innovative aquaculture research and development. By 2025, we plan to expand Aqualab with a pond-based experimental facility and a RAS-based raceway nursery system for freshwater prawns and fish.

Our poultry research has come into operation by the end of 2023 with broiler trial facilities. By 2025, the poultry research facilities will further expand through establishing two multipurpose environmentally controlled housing systems for broilers and layers, a metabolic lab for precise nutritional studies, and a disease challenge facility, all expected to be fully operational by 2025. Additionally, our feed mill for aqua and poultry feed for research trials is set to commence operations in 2025, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable research solutions
