- Provide advanced training in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
- Support critical thinking and problem-solving in aquaculture.
- Prepare interns for thesis work, advanced research, and industry leadership.
Rules and regulations
- Application Process:
- Interested students must submit a formal application through the website including their CV, academic transcripts, statement of purpose, and letter of recommendation.
- Interested students must submit a detailed research proposal through the website (if necessary).
- Selection Criteria:
- Selection will be based on academic performance, relevant skills, research interests, and alignment with ongoing projects.
- Interviews will be conducted to assess the candidate’s suitability.
- Internship Duration:
- The internship must be completed within 1.5/3/6/8 months.
- Supervision:
- Each intern will be assigned a supervisor (Manager/Lead) who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the internship.
- Regular meetings will be conducted to track progress and provide necessary guidance.
- Responsibilities:
- Interns are expected to adhere to the project timeline, fulfill assigned tasks, attend meetings, and communicate effectively with the supervisor and team members.
- Publication Policy:
- Interns must adhere to the organization’s publication policy.
- Criteria for first authorship include a significant contribution to the research concept, execution, and manuscript writing.
- Code of Conduct:
- Interns must adhere to professional conduct, maintain confidentiality, and respect the intellectual property rights of the organization and collaborators.
- Financial Responsibilities:
- For both paid and unpaid internships, interns are responsible for their accommodation, dining, transportation, and other personal expenses.
- Performance Evaluation:
- Performance will be evaluated based on the quality of work, collaboration, initiative, and adherence to deadlines.
- Final Report/ Presentation:
- Interns may be required to submit a final report or give a presentation summarizing their work and findings.

First Authorship Criteria:
- Original Concept: The intern must have a substantial role in the conception of the research idea.
- Research Execution: Active involvement in the data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Manuscript Writing: Major contribution to the drafting and revising of the publication.
- First Authorship Charge: Should pay the first authorship charge.
- Approval: All co-authors must agree on the authorship order.
- Ethical Considerations: Adhering to ethical guidelines, including proper citation of sources and declaration of conflict of interest.
- Institutional Policies: Ensure compliance with institutional policies regarding authorship and publication.
