By 2030, AI may achieve a level of autonomy or capability that could be considered “species-like,” enabling it to reproduce and reprogram itself without human intervention.
This once-distant future is approaching faster than we can imagine. If we collaborate, we could harness AI for the benefit of humanity. If we continue our current behaviors, we may face dire consequences. Scary?
On the flipside, only through AI, we can become an interplanetary or intergalactic species, potentially freeing us from the limitations of this earth.
